Junior Coaching - Green Stage

• Junior Programs COVID Safety Plan
• Ages: 10-11 years
• Class duration: 45 to 60 minutes
• Class capacity: up to 4 students
• Enrolment fee (10 weeks): $400 | $300 Advantage Parent member
• All outstanding accounts must be paid for in advance for the system to accept new term registrations. Term fees are non refundable
• Note some terms can be 8, 9, 10 or 11 weeks depending on when school starts and public holidays

Once students have entered the Green Stage, they use 75% compression green balls and play on a full-size court. By this stage, their motor skills and tennis game should be progressing at a steady pace. The recommended racquet size for this stage is 25-27 inches.

There are three levels in the Green Stage:

• Green Foundation
• Green Intermediate
• Green Matchplay (juniors developing tournament skills)

Students begin in the Green Foundation class and progress into the higher classes based on their skills and age. See our FAQ page for more information on advancing through the stages.
