The Coronation Centre Community Room in Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills, is the perfect venue for:
Light and airy, this heritage listed building features beautiful natural floorboards, views of the tennis courts and is wheelchair accessible. Located just minutes from the Central Railway Station and Sydney’s CBD, the venue is easily accessible by public transport, walking, driving or cycling. There is no driving, parking or vehicle access to the room. Pedestrian access only.
The room is available for hire Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, Weekends from 9am to 4pm and Public Holidays on request.
Room dimensions are 12m x 13m and capacity is 25 people. Additional information on the room and amenities can be found in the Information and Agreement Form below. Please also read the Terms and Conditions of Room Hire before making your request.

One of our staff will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm if we can meet your request. You will receive a Tax Invoice for the room hire fees which must be paid in full in advance of your booking date for your request to be confirmed.
There is NO kitchen, taps, refrigerator, stove, microwave or catering facilities on site. Hirers are not permitted to bring in outside chairs, tables or equipment. There is NO DRIVING or PARKING allowed in Prince Alfred Park or at the venue. All hirers including caterers must park outside and enter the park via the pedestrian/bicycle pathways to gain access to the community room.
Community room hire is available for community events such as birthday parties and social gatherings.
Commercial room hire is available for small scale events for businesses
